Tips to Remember:

Save Time - One session at The Jim Owen Studios, will get you a total selection of proofs that will be great for everything, your yearbook, your friends, your family. You choose the portrait session and we'll do the rest.

Save Face - Don't be left out of your yearbook. Show up for your portrait session, keep that appointment or you may not be photographed before the yearbook deadline date.

Save Your Tan - Book your senior portrait sitting now to be sure to get the date and time you want. You'll want to have your senior portraits done when you look great, relaxed, tanned…that whole summer thing.

Save Money - Complete portrait sessions at The Jim Owen Studios, are the best value you will find anywhere. Your finished portraits, especially wallet-sized prints, will be priced just right, too.

Tans - Look fantastic. Sunburns do not. Bathing suit or tan lines cannot be removed without digital retouching at an additional cost.

Blemishes - We can use some "in-camera" techniques to soften blemishes and facial lines. Finished portraits can be ordered with more extensive retouching.

Glasses - Lenses can distort the shape of your eyes and face. Borrow a pair of lenseless frames for your sitting. You'll be glad you did.

GUYS

Bring a plain white t-shirt to wear under the tuxedo shirt. For expanded sessions, choose sportswear, your letter jacket, coat and tie. Allow at least one week between a haircut and your portrait session to avoid that "just cut" look. Be sure to give your side burns a trim. Shave the morning of your session, some of portraits will be close-ups.

GIRLS

Wear separates for your drape pose, one-piece dresses are awkward, a tube top (which won't show) can be very helpful. Natural looking makeup makes the best portrait. Bring your own eye makeup, lipstick and cover up for last minute touch ups! Arrange your hair in your favorite style, use spray to keep the outline of your hair smooth. For expanded portrait sessions choose casual outfits, sports wear, letter jackets or formal attire. Whatever suits your personal style!
